Molly’s Toe is a small, hot spring in the Boise National Forest northeast of Cascade, in the Warm Lake area and part of the Molly’s hot springs cluster. Keep expectations calibrated: with a partially collapsed rock wall and a light flow, this one is a foot soak at best — a curiosity on a Molly’s-area springs tour rather than a destination soak.
Pool Condition
The rock wall has fallen apart in places and needs reconstruction. Flow is light, but the water is genuinely hot at 105°F. The pool is likely submerged during spring runoff and through a good chunk of the summer, which is part of why it remains a foot-soak proposition.
Seasonal Notes
The Forest Service Road providing access is not maintained during winter. Snowshoes, horses, or a snowmobile can still get you to the springs.
Camping
There is plenty of National Forest camping in the area. There is no camping at the springs.
